Western Jewelry Privacy Policy

Last updated: 01-07-2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from www.western-jewelry.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

Automatically, when you visit Your browser sends us information about your device: browser type, IP address, time zone, and the cookies stored on your device. As you move around the Site we also see which pages and products you look at, which site or search brought you here, and how you interact with the page. We call all of this Device Information.

We collect it using:

  • Cookies — small files stored on your device, usually holding an anonymous identifier. Guidance on cookies and how to switch them off is available at allaboutcookies.org.
  • Log files — records of activity on the Site, including IP address, browser, internet provider, referring and exit pages, and timestamps.
  • Web beacons, tags and pixels — small electronic files that record how you browse the Site.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — used to measure visitor actions so we can tailor our marketing.

When you order Placing or starting an order means giving us your name, billing address, shipping address, payment details, email address and phone number. We call this Order Information.

[VERIFY] Where the Meta Pixel isn't supported by a browser, we keep Order Information to build offline customer lists used for later marketing and remarketing.

Throughout this policy, Personal Information means both Device Information and Order Information.

SMS marketing and notifications

If you give us your phone number at checkout, sign up through our subscription form, or opt in with a keyword, you agree to receive text messages about your order (including abandoned-cart reminders) and marketing texts. We send no more than 100 marketing messages per month. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

To stop receiving them, reply STOP to any message from us, or use the unsubscribe link in a message. Other phrasings or requests don't count as a valid opt-out. Message and data rates may apply. For help, text HELP to the number the messages came from, or contact us.

How we use your information

Order Information is used to fulfil your order — processing payment, arranging shipping, and sending you confirmations and invoices. Beyond that, we use it to:

  • Contact you about your order or your questions
  • Check orders for fraud or risk
  • Send you information or offers about our products, where you've told us you want them

Device Information helps us spot risk and fraud (your IP address in particular), and improve the Site — for example by analysing how customers browse and shop, and measuring whether our advertising works. We also use it to show you our ads later on platforms such as Facebook and Google.

Who we share it with

We share Personal Information with third parties who help us do the things described above.

  • Shopify powers our online store. Their privacy policy: shopify.com/legal/privacy
  • Google Analytics helps us understand how the Site is used. Google's privacy policy: google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy. You can opt out via tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We may also disclose Personal Information where the law requires it — for instance in response to a subpoena, warrant or other lawful request — or to protect our rights.

Targeted advertising

We use your Personal Information to show you ads and marketing we think you'll find relevant. The Network Advertising Initiative explains how targeted advertising works at networkadvertising.org.

You can opt out here:

  • Facebook: facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
  • Google: google.com/settings/ads/anonymous
  • Bing: advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads

The Digital Advertising Alliance also runs an opt-out portal at optout.aboutads.info.

Do Not Track: we don't currently change how we collect or use data when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Your rights

If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct, update or delete it. Contact us at the address below to do so.

We process your information either to perform the contract between us (when you place an order) or on the basis of the legitimate business interests described above. Your information may be transferred outside Europe.

We keep your Order Information on file for our records unless you ask us to delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time — to reflect changes in how we work, or for legal, regulatory or operational reasons.
