What your jewelry is made of
925 sterling silver Most of our pieces are made from 925 sterling silver — a metal that has been used in fine jewelry for centuries for good reason. It's strong enough for daily wear, holds a natural shine, and takes fine detail beautifully, which is what lets our craftsmanship come through.
Protective finish Our pieces are finished with a carefully applied coating. It adds a layer of protection against tarnish and everyday wear, helping the surface stay the way you first saw it.
Everyday care
1. Keep it away from the rough stuff
- Don't leave pieces in direct sunlight, damp rooms or extreme heat or cold.
- Take your jewelry off before swimming or bathing, and before anything that brings it into contact with harsh chemicals — household cleaners included.
2. Store it properly
- Give each piece its own spot in a cool, dry place so nothing scratches or tangles.
- Anti-tarnish strips or an airtight box help by keeping air and moisture out.
3. Clean it gently
- A soft, lint-free cloth is enough to lift dust and skin oils. Do it regularly.
- For a deeper clean, use a mild, non-abrasive product made for sterling silver and follow its instructions.
4. Mind the beauty products Perfume, lotion and hairspray contain ingredients that speed up tarnishing. Don't spray or rub them onto your jewelry.
5. Handle with care
- Put your jewelry on last, after makeup — some products contain fine abrasive particles.
- Take it off before anything physically demanding, so it doesn't get knocked or caught.
Keeping it beautiful long term
Get it checked. Have a jeweler look your pieces over now and then; small issues are easy to fix early.
Replating. Plated surfaces wear down eventually. Professional replating after a few years brings the finish back.
Polishing. Sterling silver tarnishes naturally over time. A silver polishing cloth restores the original shine.
Repairs. Deal with damage or a loose setting straight away rather than waiting — it's usually a smaller job than it looks.
Know your piece. Some designs are more delicate than others and want a gentler routine. It's worth knowing which of yours those are.
